I recommend these books for your consideration:
Petrus Romanus, The Final Pope Is Here by Thomas Horn and Cris Putnum (2012, IBSN 13: 9780984825615) and A Woman Rides The Beast by Dave Hunt (1994, ISBN 1-56507-199-9).
I want to address Malachy’s “Prophecy of the Popes.”
Malachy was born in Northern Ireland in 1094. His life is summarized in Petrus Romanus if you are interested in all the details. For this post I will just tell you that Malachy searched for opportunities to express his passion for the Catholic Church. A series of miracles and a gift of prophecy were attributed to him. People flocked to him and supported his cause — reestablishing devotion to rituals. He was most passionate about convincing Rome to officially recognize archbishops with a pallium, a woolen cloak of authority. He accomplished his goal, but in exchange, he was required to become Papal Legate of Ireland and deal with all of its political intricacies, rather than retire and live his remaining years in seclusion, which was his heart’s desire.
As he was leaving Rome, frustrated by what had taken place there, he had a vision — because of the impiety of the popes, Rome would burn. The prophecy is a list of Latin verses predicting each of the Roman Catholic popes from Pope Celestine II to the final pope, “Peter the Roman,” whose reign would end in the destruction of Rome. According to this prophecy, the current pope, Benedict XVI, is the last to reign before Peter the Roman is enthroned in the Vatican.
The final segment of the prophecy reads: “In extreme persecution of the Holy Roman Church, there will sit Peter the Roman, who will nourish the sheep in many tribulations; when they are finished, the City of Seven Hills will be destroyed, and the dreadful judge will judge his people. The End.”
There is a high level of ongoing crisis within the walls of the Vatican. It has been well documented that before he was crowned the current pope, Cardinal Ratzinger was deeply entrenched in the coverup of the sexual abuse of young boys. At this moment, there is question concerning Rome’s involvement with the International Monetary Fund. And the rituals of the Catholic Church are also in question, papal infallibility for one.
Pope Benedict has been quoted as wondering why he was elected pope and that he does not consider himself “infallible” as Catholic doctrine insists.
I would just like to remind my readers that Jesus invoked simplicity, not regal costumes and complex rituals based on the whims of men who consider themselves on the same level as — if not the replacement of — Christ, the Son of God.
The prophet Isaiah wrote:
“How you have fallen from heaven, O morning star, son of the dawn [Lucifer]! You have been cast down to the earth, you who once laid low the nations. YOU SAID IN YOUR HEART, ‘I will ascend to heaven … I WILL MAKE MYSELF LIKE THE MOST HIGH.’ But you are brought down to the grave, to the depths of the pit. Those who see you stare at you, they ponder your fate.” (Isaiah 1412-16)
NOTE: Jesus is referred to as The Bright Morning Star (“I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star.” — Revelation 22:16)
Fast forward …
The Pope Sides With Muslims Over Israel’s Claim to Jerusalem
Never one to miss an opportunity to take a side against the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob — YHWH — the Pope [Francis] has once again weighed in on a political hot button topic.
Are you kidding me right now?
Just one day after President Trump boldly declared the United States would recognize Jerusalem as the capital city of Israel, the Pope jumped into the debate to say he was “worried” about Trump’s plan. From Reuters:
The pope told thousands of people at his general audience: “I cannot keep quiet about my deep worry about the situation that has been created in the last few days.”
He said he hoped “wisdom and prudence prevail, in order to avoid adding new elements of tension to a global panorama that is already convulsed and marked by so many and cruel conflicts.”
Way to go Pontiff, at least you are consistent. You have never once taken a position backing YHWH or Jesus, only the Muslims. At least we know where you stand!
This (fake) Pope is a far-left zealot, more concerned with social change and far-left causes than he seems to be about Jesus Christ. Doesn’t seems very odd, doesn’t it?
